VHS ビデオを視聴するというレトロなシチュエーショ
ンを模したインスタレーション作品。
このインスタレーションで使用されるVHS テープは独
立した作品《Sex Document 1989》である。
《SexDocument 1989》は、コンピュータープログラミング
によって映像信号と音声信号が相互に変換され、両者
が抽象的なものに変化した日本産のヴィンテージ・ア
ダルトビデオである。VHS プレーヤーとブラウン管テ
レビの間に、検閲部分を除去できると謳い販売されて
いた詐欺商品、「モザイク除去装置」が接続されブラウ
ン管上の映像に退屈なエフェクトを与える。
